John F. Shettle Jr.
Director
John F. Shettle is the President and CEO of the Victor O. Schinnerer Company. He has a background of over 20 years in senior management positions in the property/casualty and insurance-related services industry. Most recently, Mr. Shettle served as Chief Executive Officer of Tred Avon Capital Advisors, Inc., a firm providing advisory services to companies and private equity firms focused on the insurance sector. Mr. Shettle also serves on the Board of Directors of NYSE-listed insurance holding companies. Previously, Mr. Shettle has held senior management positions at Securitas Capital, Swiss Reinsurance Company and Frederick, MD-based AVEMCO Corporation (NYSE). Mr. Shettle received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University and holds an M.B.A. from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola College in Maryland.
