Arthur Bethell

Vice Chairman

Arthur L. Bethell is the former Chairman of Sagicor Financial Corporation, ultimate parent company of Sagicor Life Insurance. Mr. Bethell was President and CEO of the Sagicor Group until 2002. He was appointed to that position in 1995. Mr. Bethell joined Sagicor (formerly Barbados Mutual) as a sales representative in 1965 and held the positions of Superintendent of Agencies, Sales Manager, Vice President, Marketing, and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Life Insurance Company Limited (Bahamas). Mr. Bethell is a Director of several companies with the Sagicor Group as well as many companies in the Caribbean private sector.
