ARE YOU PREPARED?Most retirees (baby boomers) are trying to meet a wide range of goals, such as protecting themselves and their family in case of a costly illness and leaving an estate for their heirs. As people are living longer the need for nursing home and home health care assistance increases. Most individuals are unprepared for nursing home or health care costs and this is becoming a growing financial concern for seniors. If you are 45 years or older, you may have considered how much nursing home and home health care will cost. Through the Accelerated Benefit Insurance Rider (included at no additional cost) and after the policy has been in force for 12 months, you can access the policy's death benefit in two ways, the Terminal Illness Benefit or the Chronic Illness Benefit. The Accelerate Benefit will equal the lesser amount equal to the death benefit amount less $25,000 or $250,000.
