The Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League held its 13th annual Bolt Run on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in downtown Tampa. This year the St. Patty’s Day themed event consisted of 5K, 5-mile and 1-mile fun runs that featured pre and post-race parties on the forum’s plaza. The Bolt Run is partly sponsored by Sagicor with all proceeds going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. More than 2,400 runners came out to enjoy the day and support the cause. Career Agents Dawn Hudson and Tom Memory were on hand promoting Sagicor and talking to people about their life insurance needs. Ruben Barreto from the Tampa office ran the race and took pictures of the event for us. Sagicor is a corporate sponsor of the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning and also enjoys in Arena signage during the 41 game home season. The Lightning consistently play to a sell-out crowd, providing Sagicor with excellent brand awareness in the Tampa Bay Region.
